Connecting Canadian Musicians with Opportunities
Who are we? Lyn Townsend Music Promoter is dedicated to helping Canadian musicians build their brand. We currently operate in southern Ontario but we have been known to help musicians wherever they may be. We primarly work with artists that are not represented by an agent or a manager but that has its exceptions too!
How do we do it? We have been around musicians and venues for a lifetime and have found that there is a myriad of opportunities for musicians but its too time consuming for artists to find them. Often opportunities are buried in publications and social media or they come from our extensive networking and connections.
Our History. Prior to launching this venture we commenced buildling a roster of artists and venues for possible matches. We made several matches from our sources. We spent hours mining the internet and other sources to be sure we could offer a viable and useful service.
What do you get if you are on our roster? We work daily to compile opportunities and to make matches for our clients. We are also exploring the business of streaming and learning about the opportunities to maximize exposure in the world of on-line access to music.
